Hidden Valley is situated in the countryside near Launceston, it is best approached by car from the A395. Hidden Vally is a great mix of fun activities for the kids and beautiful natural environment for the adults to enjoy. You do not need to book to participate in the challenges, but the park do advise to allow at least 2 hours for this activity.
SKATEPARK
Mount Hawke Skate Park Gover Waterworks, Mount Hawke, Skatepark TR4 8BQ
This day out is unfortunately only suited to more experienced scooter riders, the Skate Park is a professional standard skate park. We just could not give the park a mention when discussing scooting days out in Cornwall! The park secured National Lottery Funding in 1996 and is worth a peek just to check out the stunts and tricks!
FAMILY FRIENDLY FUN PARK

A fantastic family day out in Cornwall the pony centre is not scooter friendly but the outdoor play area and woodland walk most certainly is! Recognised as a quality assured visitor attraction by the English Tourism Council, there are trampolines, play equipment and a play castle and train. Feeling peckish?...why not follow the woodland walk path behind the lake to the clearing underneath the oak tree for the perfect picnic spot.

Cornwall Tourism Awards winner of Visitor Attraction of the Year in 2006. A really great family day out and although you cannot take scooters into the zoo we couldn’t talk about the South West without mentioning Newquay Zoo.

BEACH

This is your typical beach day out which if the weather is on your side makes a great family outing. There are amusement arcades and a small fun-fair at the blue flag awarded beach. If your feeling sightly more adventurous the nature reserve is one of the regions protected spots and definitely worth a scoot around to try and spot some rare wildlife, flowers and birds!

ZOO

Exmoor zoo has a wide range of animals and birds to keep kids of all ages interested. There is a picnic area which is partly covered in case of rain and an adjacent play area it also has a cafe with a reasonable menu. The park welcomes scooters making the journey easier for little feet.

Here at Scoot® Moors Vally Country Park is one of our favorite days out. The paths are all tarmacced making scooting and using pushchairs just that little bit easier! Lots of walking trails, play trails and great play areas, so whether you want to enjoy a peaceful walk or bike ride through the Forest, experience a ride on an authentic narrow-gauge steam train or even Go Ape on a high wire forest adventure then make sure you check out it. Also ensure you visit the website before you go as its really helpful and easy to use and makes planning your day simple.
POTTERY STUDIO AND WATERFRONT WALKS

Poole Pottery Studio is right on The Quay in Poole with lovely waterfront walks which have great flat surfaces for scooting. This makes Poole the ideal spot to paint a plate, scoot along the front for some chips and pop back and collect your personalised pottery. Also just along from The Quay is Poole Park which the kids will love with...Gus Gorilla's jungle playground, miniature railway, boat hire, bowling green and tennis courts you most certainly wont be bored! The wonderful flower displays helped Poole to win the Best Park Award in Southern England.

BEACH WALK

Mudeford Quay is a fantastic day out if your lucky enough to be treated to some sunshine! The children will have great fun scooting along the flat surfaced seafront path, and picking up some crabbing lines to try and catch some crabs. The Quay is a safe haven and a large green area is perfect for picnics, ball games and kite flying. The boat ride over to Hengistbury Head is also a must!

PUBLIC PARK

Royal Victoria Park provides beautiful surroundings for your family day out. The kids will love the childrens play area with different equipments grouped roughly according to age groups. There are conventional slides, swings, climbing frames and a sandpit and a skateboard area for the professional scooterer!

This Treasure Trail is 2 miles long and should take you about 2.5 hours to complete. It is mostly paved, fairly level, with some gentle inclines throughout.

LAKESIDE WALK

Wow! You will not be short of things to do at Cotswold Country Park with lakeside walks, children’s playgrounds and water zorbing on offer. The inland beach is the most popular attraction in the Cotswold Waterpark. There is a Cafe located on the lake with a very reasonably priced menu, however we think you be mad to miss the opportunity of picnic on the ‘beach.’
FARM PARK

A really great family farm day out with daily live lambing demonstrations and plenty to keep the kids entertained including an undercover sand pit, lion maze and adventure playground. However we guarantee that the most fun will be had on the ‘Jumping Pillow’ its not a trampoline, its not a bouncy castle it is exactly what we said a giant jumping pillow and a must for any visitor to the farm.
WOODLAND ADVENTURE PLAYGROUNDS

A great family fun day out in 80 acres of gorgeous woodland, just 12 miles from Bath and 6 miles from Longleat. There are two outdoor adventure playgrounds that you can travel between via a walk around the lake, where there's always plenty to see or you can take the woodland train. There is also a safe undercover play area for the under 6's. In addition, the play trail which leads out of Adventureland brings some extra fun and excitement to a walk through the woods.

SAFARI PARK

Scooters and bicycles are welcomed at Longleat Adventure Park, but not through the main square anywhere else in the park is fine. Theres so much to do at Longleat and once you experienced the drive through safari the kids can burn of some energy outside at the maze, pat-a-pet, and adventure playgrounds.
